Precision Dental Analytics ("PDA," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website precisiondentalanalytics.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit the Site, use our interactive tools, or access gated content through the Intelligence Vault.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
We collect information you voluntarily submit through the Site, including:
Newsletter subscription: Your email address when you subscribe to The Data Driven Dentist newsletter via our on-site form.
Intelligence Vault access: Your email address when you request access to gated vault content, downloadable tools, or research documents.
Calculator submissions: Practice financial data you enter into our EBITDA Leakage Calculator or Valuation Calculator, along with the email address you provide to receive your results.
Contact/intake form: Your name, email, practice details, and any additional information you provide through our Pre-LOI Briefing intake form.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This information is collected by Netlify (our hosting provider) as part of standard server logging.
2.3 Cookies
We use a limited number of functional cookies to operate the Site. Specifically, we use a vault_email cookie (90-day duration, scoped to /vault paths) to remember your email address when accessing Intelligence Vault tools, so you are not asked to re-enter it on each download. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To deliver requested content: Sending newsletter editions, providing access to gated vault resources, delivering calculator results, and responding to intake form submissions.
To personalize vault tool downloads: PDF documents downloaded from the Intelligence Vault are watermarked with the email address you provide. This watermark reads "STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL — Exclusively provisioned for [your email]" and serves as a document provenance and intellectual property protection measure.
To improve our services: Aggregated, de-identified calculator submission data may be used to refine our benchmarking models and improve the accuracy of our diagnostic tools.
To communicate with you: Responding to your inquiries, scheduling briefings, and sending relevant practice intelligence when you have opted in.
4. Data Storage and Third-Party Services
Your data is processed and stored using the following services:
Netlify: Hosts the Site and processes form submissions (newsletter, vault access, and intake forms). Netlify's infrastructure is located in the United States. See Netlify's Privacy Policy.
Supabase: Stores calculator submission data (EBITDA Leakage and Valuation Calculator inputs and results). Supabase uses PostgreSQL databases with row-level security policies that restrict access to insert-only for anonymous submissions. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use third-party advertising networks or data brokers.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. All data transmitted to and from the Site is encrypted via TLS/SSL. Calculator submissions are stored in a database with row-level security policies restricting access. Vault access codes are managed through server-side validation functions.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Calculator submissions are retained for benchmarking and service improvement purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port the personal data we hold about you, as well as the right to object to or restrict certain processing activities. 8. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete such information.
